WEALTH & HEALTHNESS

Before I begin, yes, you can now apply for Near Future Summit 2025, but even more importantly, you can register to VOTE, and if you've already registered, you probably can send in your ballot!

Near Future has always been focused on finding the most powerful solutions to optimize the health of the planet, society, and you! Recently, many of the solutions I'm finding are physical locations and non-profits with unwavering devotion to providing tools to address health stressors. I wanted to share the places, people, and products that are blowing the Near Future team's minds.

TAKING THE PLUNGE

I know that I am very counter culture, but before I entered Love.Life I had never played pickleball nor had I successfully plunged. Yet, in LA's new wellness/biohacking club, amongst friends I dared to partake (not in jeans, despite the misleading photo). I also optimized my resistance, got scanned, met with a functional medical doc, a nutritionist, lounged in a very Nordic group sauna, and was deliciously nourished, yet barely scratched the surface of this astonishing space founded by Whole Foods Co-founder John Mackey. Luckily, our very own Christiana Musk is an investor and board member, so she has vowed to take us back to delve deeper. And this time, we'd love for a passionate group of Near Futurists to join us. Stay tuned.

MENTAL HEALTH DAY

They brought together thought leaders and change makers for engaging panel discussions, benefit rides, guided meditations and activities aimed at de-stigmatizing mental health and fostering important conversations. GLADIATOR 4 GOOD

You may know Connie Nielsen from starring in the OG or the upcoming Gladiator sequel or for playing Wonder Woman's mother, or for eloquently taking the stage at NFS in 2017, where she shared her Human Needs Project. Celebrating 10 years of Kibera Town Centre, they offer clean community & access to clean water, sanitation, education & much more.

CATCH OF THE DAY

Last month, The Ocean Cleanupdocked in the Bay Area to announce their next phase in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch cleanup. A few lucky Near Futurists were able to tour the vessel and witness the latest catch. Click here to watch the reception that took place at the Port of SF.

INDEXING FOR HEALTH
